Exotic skills are powerful skills that can be acquired with Exotic gem.png exotic gems.

Power Plant

  • Hibernation Mode (50 Exotic gem.png) - Boosts stop losing their duration while the game is closed but still affect all buildings during that time as many they would normally do.

Mine

  • Mineralogy (Exotic gem.png) - Provides a 0.05% chance that a mined tile turns into an exotic gem.
  • Geology (25 Exotic gem.png) - Multiplies shard and resource rewards by your current town level and gem rewards by town level^0.15.
  • Battle Drills (10 Exotic gem.png) - Triples the speed at which new mining layers are generated while tower testing is active and the drill is working. Works for all non-sandbox gamemodes as long as the tower is alive and the round-over-screen is not visible.

  • Armored Cargo Bay (35 Exotic gem.png) - Applies the shipment bonus to exotic gems at a reduced rate of x^0.2 by reinforcing the bulkheads of all ships.

Trading Post

  • Bargaining (35 Exotic gem.png) - Increases the conversion rate by a additional 10%.
  • Hyper Trade (75 Exotic gem.png) - Provides a chance equal to your trading amount percentage to perform a hyper trade which multiplies your crate reward between 2 and 10 depending on your trading amount percentage. (Low trading percentage equals higher multiplier. Hyper trade is indicated by falling crates in the background.)
  • Experienced Merchant (Exotic gem.png) - Increases the conversion rate based on your total amount of trades statistic. (Formula: Log10(x)1.2% where "x" represents your trades. Log10(0) = 1 in this case.)

  • Eternal Conflict (250 Exotic gem.png) - Refighting Bosses rewards you with 1/10th (rounded down) of the original Exotic Gem reward after winning the fight.
  • Cyanotypes (1,500 Exotic gem.png) - Allows you to take one additional boss module into boss fights.
